Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both an athlete and captain for the 2012 Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics at London. In addition, she took her bronze on the balance beam. She was the only American to have won many Olympic medals. She took gold during the team competition of the 2016 Olympics that was her as well as Gabby Douglas first Americans to earn back-toback gold medals. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around as well as floor workouts. Between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics over three seasons. Her gold medal winning American team also took part in 2 World Championships. The event she enjoys the most is the floor exercise. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn in the year she turned two years old. Aly believes in her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. As for the future, she hopes to build a career in fashion. She would also like to extend her leotards line and socks collection. She is writing a book called Fierce to be published in the coming months.
